The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, one of the most anticipated models of the year, has been receiving an overwhelming number of orders since its debut in July 2025. Buyers, eager to get their hands on the supercar, have been eagerly awaiting news on its production. Now, those answers are finally here.
According to order holders on CorvetteBlogger, dealers have reported that the ZR1 has moved to “3000 status” in the production process. This means it is now scheduled for manufacturing. Additionally, some customers who ordered specific aero packages have received updates indicating a Target Production Week (TPW) in early May.
While the production status has been updated, Chevrolet has not yet confirmed the exact dates for the ZR1’s assembly. However, the next allocation cycle is expected to begin this week—assuming it isn’t delayed like the March cycle. Last month, dealerships were not informed about a delay in the allocation, leading to speculation that another delay might occur.
Even if the April allocations are postponed, there’s no need for concern about the ZR1’s value in the short term. Chevrolet has already extended the “do-not-sell” period for resellers to 12 months, ensuring that buyers will have the opportunity to enjoy their ZR1 for under $200,000.
